Prenatal Stimulation

Knowing about Prenatal stimulation … through music

Hearing is the first way a baby develops in the womb, and the only one that lets you connect with the outside.

So as through vibrations, rhythms and melodies, a mom, dad and their unborn child may engage in close and pleasant relationship.

The music, the enriching element of life, is a bridge of love, a simple and affordable for all is also vital for communication and the development of a full expression in the cases of children with special needs.

On prenatal musical stimulation and music therapy in pediatric neurology.

Music therapy is a therapeutic discipline which uses the elements of music as a means to facilitate various processes of health in people.

These processes can be therapeutic, rehabilitation, didactic, or preventive.

In music therapy we use the implementation of sound and music, including silence and noise, which are combined with therapeutic interventions and re-education through a variety of musical techniques, and specifically sound body.

This discipline of more than 40 years of history in our country, has very specific methods and techniques, in which music is used to maintain or restore the health of patients within a therapeutic process.

Many people ask me how it differs in general music therapy music therapy applied to pregnancy.

The difference lies in the framework and objectives to work.

Here we have a limited time to develop the treatment, because since the beginning of it, until the baby is born, there is a maximum of approximately 16 sessions.

On the other hand, the objectives are related to three basic aspects: The first link is the relationship between those and the one that arrives.

The second relates to the needs of the mother, fears, fantasies, anxieties, dreams, etc.

And the third has to do with stimulation of the baby before birth.

These aspects are crossed by the concept we call “The spheres of pregnancy”, which are parallel paths to the physical pregnancy pregnancy along which emotional, mental and spiritual.
